Difficulties with SCD (COLITIS)

Hello everyone,

I've had colitis diagnosed for four years now and I've made quite an improvement in my health and many would say that the stage I'm at is lucky. I wiened off the Prednisone(cordisone) last christmas and since then I've been on Imuran and Asacol.

I've been seeing a natural doctor who helped me with my diet. At first I was fruit intollerant. Taking out the fruit worked pretty well but after time we realized that the grain/carb was the real problem.

I started the SCD and at first it was a success and eventually either the fruit or the yoghurt began to revive my symptoms.

I am now on an exchange program in Germany, and it seems that all I can eat is mellon, rhubarb, meat and vegetables.

Are there any comments or similar cases out there? If anyone has any advice it would be greatly appreciated if you could pass it on to

Thanks a lot,

Peter
