The bad guys can complicate this process, and this may show altered levels of these proteins. You produce IgA, IgE, IgG, IgM, and I think IgK{?}. If there are anomalies in these levels, there is an indication a disturbance of the immune-system is evident. This could mean many things incl. infection, but body chemistry is a big factor. The hospitals can run these tests, but they are delicate with a degree of false negatives. Usually, something obvious will show. Request immunoglobulin evaluation. Shroom
