Well, if you have no other symptoms of candida, ok. But if you have some of the other symptoms, your IBS is likely just part of the whole candida picture. My husband was diagnosed with IBS during a colonoscopy. However, he has no symptoms of it, or of candida for that matter. But they saw his colon was spastic and labeled it IBS.
