I have been unable to get Lugol's solution in England for many years now. The last pharmasist I asked didn't know what it was and couldn't find a reference to it. I told her it was Iodine and water but she couldn't get any. I used to treat the horses with it. Does anybody know if Betadine gargle could be taken in small doses? You can now only get this in the diluted form, not the concentrated drop dispenser. I suppose the drug companys are afraid that someone will upset their thyroid and sue. Any information appreciated.
