Don't know if anyone else has posted this. But Inulin, I've read, is a great super food for healthy bacteria flora. I think it goes by the name of FOS, as well. It's found in Jersualem Artichokes, garlic, onions, etc. My doctor gave me a great fiber supplement that has 600g of inulin (!) from Jersuaelm Artichoke. That's more than enough food for your healthy bacteria. Since I can't take kefir, I think this is probably just as good as a supplement for prebiotics.
