Congratulations on controlling your diabetes!

Guafenesin or "Guai" for short, is sold over the counter but only in small doses. It's a very old medication so there's no patent and many companies produce it. For Dr. Amand's protocol, you have to take a lot so he recommends a prescription dose so you don't have to take a lot of pills. And of course, he says you should do this under the supervision of your doctor....... but good luck in finding one that knows about this therapy.

Also, you have to stay away from salicylates while on Guai treatment because salicylates block the Guai from doing its thing.

I'm no expert but I'm researching it now.... I have bought the book by Dr. Amand called, "What your doctor may NOT tell you about Fibromyaligia" On the back cover it mentions other diseases that are helped including....... you guessed it, Candida.

There are also lots of websites dedicated to this therapy so Google it and you can get more info.

Oh and ps. Dr. Amand believes there is a blood Sugar link and has an excellent blood Sugar control diet featured in his book.
