oral thrush (candida on the tounge) is an indicator of HIV in the body. its not stupid. i think anyone who has had any type of exposure that would present the possibility of contracting aids should be tested. candida or not. the sooner you treat the better the possibilities. not to mention if you chose to sleep with someone you should be tested beforehand and periodically. i got tested 2x with a year in between when i had my tinea versa color. you never know....its a virus that anyone can have or carry without showing signs of sickness for a long time.
