Hi Zapp. I think you have pretty well covered the main problem of candida sufferers. It is all about re-establishing lacto-bacteria. My recent examination of fecal smear reveals very very little lacto-bacteria [rod-types] and almost 95% candida. I am optimistic about using pure bifidobacterium infantis because it is an aggressive foundation type of bacteria, the first to colonize in the bowel after birth. Finding it may pose a problem. Also, it means defeating the candida temporarily--or at least weakening it significantly. shroom
