not sure about the cooking thing but be careful about vinegar. a lot of fermented/pickled foods are made with vinegar. that is why i was told to make my own fermented foods - homemade are good for candida - store bought are usually bad because of the vinegar and other ingredients we can't have.
the kimchi i got is vinegar and dairy free. do you have a whole foods near you? they sell it. kinda expensive for a little jar though. that is why i am going to make it myself when i get the time.
