May have accidentaly stumbled upon something

I have been taking pseudoephedrine hydrochloride tablets [decongestants] to relieve my prostate and....it seems to inhibit the yeast. This is quite significant. Too early to tell, but it makes sense. This drug is an alpha inhibitor, which affects g-coupled protien receptors. If it interfers with yeast neurotransmitters, this would empede the organism from distruping certain immune-responses of the body. In theory, this could destroy the little buggers. It does interfer with sleep, but I will continue for a while to see what happens.-----------------Shroom
