It depends how long you have had the infection. It has programmed it's self into your DNA after a certain point. It is possible to keep the numbers down, but to totally eliminate it would be highly unlikely. Think of them like cancer cells. You can control the production of new cells through various therapy methods, but until you get the primary site, you will always be in danger of re-infection. These little suckers can go into dormancy as well! I have seen these things up-close and personal through microscopic observation. It really drives the point home that they are tough as hell. It takes some hard chemicals to kill them. But they have spores which can survive! These things have existed long, long before we ever came along. They are built for survival. They must be dealt with at a genetic level, or have their adhesive qualities impeded. This would get them off your bowel wall and allow for all those lacto-bacteria to re-establish. This would incite the restored production of essential enzmes, and ultimately a re-balanced flora. This would be ideal.---------------------------------------------------Shroom
