Re: How long does it take?
there are lots of things you are supposed to do.
i think you are supposed to clean out the bowel first doing a bowel detox. i have not done this yet...then you should do liver and kidney cleanses when the bowel is clean. there is a lot of info on here if you do a cleanse search.
you should be taking a good probiotic every day morning and night. you should make things like homemade yogurt if you can handle dairy. rotate 4 different natural antifungals taking them each for 4 days to a week in a row and then switching. there are plenty of them: garlic, caprylic acid, oil of oregano, grapefruit seed extract, pau d' arco...i can't think right now of any others.
other herbs/foods that are good for candida are golden seal, barberry, cinnamon, cayenne pepper...
and if you can...try to exercise at least a few times a week. i truly believe exercise is extremely important to overcome this thing. it is helping me tremendously.
you can also do detox baths to help suck out toxins. there are recipes for that on here as well. and you should be drinking tons of water every day with lemon in it to flush out your system. at least 64
oz a day.
i don't recommend doing this all at once. you have to do your research and eventually you will get the hang of this thing. don't think you can rid yourself of it overnight...it is a long road ahead so just try to take things one day at a time and listen to what your body tells you. different things work for different people. you just gotta figure out what's best for you.
