i am not sure of the answer to your last questions but this stuff helps me out a lot as far as going to the bathroom. i drink this almost every night before i go to sleep and i go to the bathroom first thing when i wake up.
i get it from the local health food store. i recommend getting the orange flavor though because the regular isn't too tasty if you know what i mean. it is all natural and the orange tastes good.
you have to work your way up though. first time i took it i took the full three teaspoons like it says on the back and i got a little sick. now i do one heaping teaspoon but i can drink it a twice a day if i like.
my whole family takes this stuff before bed and they love it. it really does relax you and help you sleep too if you are having sleep issues. my mom is suffering from candida also and has a lot of anxiety problems. this has greatly improved her sleep habits. it will take 3-5 days probably til you are more regular though. i guess depending on how constipated you are it may take longer.
