I believe I have isolated my problem. It is a molar. It was giving me problems before the root canal, and it may be a primary source. I have been using calcium hydroxide to disinfect the tooth area and my tongue. Then, I apply a saliva substitute called 'biotene' which have active oral enzymes in it. This has begun to clear up my geographic tongue {oral thrush} almost completely now. I can make it through the entire night without build-up!! So this indicates that the problem is: a] the tooth and b] the submandibular gland. As a matter-of-fact, any gland in your body can contrubute to the candida problem, by not producing certain chemicals. In this case it is probably "histidine". I think once this gland heals, I will be clear of the disease.
I have nixed the oral pathologist, and am going straight to my dentist to have a procedure which I have specifically requested. She is excited to see if this will resolve the whole systemic problem. So am I! This may also be added proof that systemic candidiasis can be caused by infected teeth.
