Re: Anyone have constant cracking joints caused by candida?

Thank you so much for your response! It's just nice to know I am not the only one out there with this problem - it is the only one of my symptoms that made me think something else could be seriously wrong with me besides candida. I just kept searching and searching and could never find that as a symptom. Could I ask when your cracking started? Mine didn't begin til a few months after my initial symptoms. I actually tried one of those ionic foot detoxes (not sure if you ever heard of it). It is supposed to suck toxins out of your body. Well the next day was when I started to notice the popping and cracking and it progessively got worse. Although some days seem to be better than others now. At the time, I still didn't know what was wrong with me (candida) but I remember the lady who examined all the stuff in the water said there was a ton of yeast. I don't know how much I believe in those things but at any rate, I have been popping machine ever since! I can deal with it but i just hope it is caused by the candida and not the Cipro. Speaking of which, here are some of the links I found that you requested:

http://www.drugvictims.org/
and on this page there is actually a forum for quinolone victims: http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/quinolones/

Here was one more I found today:

Interestingly, many of the symptoms are candida symptoms so I often wonder if those people treated candida, maybe they would get some relief. I had a minor infection - a supposed UTI, but the ER doctor that I saw was a complete moron, just like many of the different docs I have been to in the last few months. I think it was yeast in my urine all along, not an actual bacterial infection so I should never have even been given Antibiotics . I never knew how dangerous cipro was. My sister and mom get UTI's all the time and always took it. I have taken it once in the past as well and didn't have any problems - but i read some have taken it a few times before they have a reaction. I just can't believe doctor's prescribe it when there are other milder Antibiotics for an infection like that. It makes me soooo angry. Well I think the cipro really was what pushed me over the edge. After a year and a half of Antibiotics for mild Acne and then two weeks later the cipro, plus zithromax and a few others over the last year, I just destroyed my body. I am so angry at doctors right now...they all kept telling me antibiotics were perfectly safe and that the doxy was safe!! So many of them are just drug pushers and don't really care about your health. Pills, Pills, and MORE PILLS seems to be the way of most docs now. I never had any vaginal infections or thrush so I never would've suspected yeast. I kept asking the different doctors I saw if the antibiotics could have been the cause of all of my sudden health problems and they all kept saying NO!! Can you tell I am still really mad??

I seem to be doing much better now that I am on the candida diet, but I feel like I am just sorta preventing symptoms rather than actually killing it. I am working on ways to figure that out. I haven't exercised really at all in the last 4 months. Everytime I tried I would be find but then I would wake up the next day with all kinds of shooting pains in my back and started getting small bruises on my calves which kinda freaked me out. Maybe a little anemia?? I don't really know. Anyways, I am rambling because I haven't really posted much yet about all of they symptoms I had. I just joined the boards yesterday. Well I am trying to take my life back now and plan on starting up at the gym again next week! I hope my body can handle it!
