Re: L-Glutamine ok for leaky gut with Candida?

My understanding is that L-glutamine is often used to treat leaky gut (which is associated with candida). You shouldn't be concerned about its conversion to glucose; in fact, the majority of the food you ingest is converted to glucose, your energy source (you can't live without glucose). The main focus is to eliminate refined sugars and other simple carbohydrates from your diet as these are instant energy sources readily available to the yeast in the gut.
