Candida on skin

Can anyone tell me what candida on the skin looks like, I have been getting these weird patches of dry skin all over my body , the patches turn purpulish then flake, and itch sometimes, there is no pain though, they just started coming all of a sudden and my body has been itching more lately. I have been taking acidophilus pills and when I started taking them I got a yeast infection, I had ran out and had to wait about 5 days until I received my package and during that time the yeast infection left, but I had intestinal problems as gas a bloating I have irritable bowel sydrome and intestinal ulcers. When I started taking the acidophilus again the yeast infection came back and I can smell yeast in my urine, now I'm still taking the acidophilus but the yeast infection has left, as well as my bloating. I think the candida was trying to exit my body because I was also getting a itchy scalp, I also think it might be on my skin now as a way to escape my intestines. Could I be right?
