I can sure sympathise with you. And just my two cents here ( to the previous poster )---from what I can tell, there is no "test" for candida. I've heard people here mention having had this test or that, but with all the reading I've done in the past 5 years, I've never heard of one.
As for a doctor not giving you something dangerous, wellll.... I'm not too sure about that. Not that you don't have an excellent doctor or anything :-) I'm sure you do---but my nurse practitioner gave me Diflucan and Nizoral for about a year, and since then I've read that doctors won't even prescribe Nizoral anymore because it causes liver failure!! YIKES! I guess she was just trying to help, but I could have ended up with no liver at all. Scary thought.
Since you've had such success with it in the past, I don't blame you in the least for trying it again. Definately keep getting those liver enzymes tested regularly though.
