It's expensive to buy the snacks. I wanted to try some prepared snacks to see what I like. I have a dehydrator so I'll be saving some money making it myself. Also, I don't buy organic. My view is that I live on Long Island and I think I get more pollution from the particle board at my job than from non-organic fruits and veggies. I use a good vegetable wash. The only area I spend money on is reference books.
