Re: I go through phases of believing I have chronic candida, to thinking I don't have it at all.
I had exactly this same question to my own doctor a few months ago and tests showed all clear. I tend to get the mucus about a week or two after menstruation which starts of clear and a lot of it then after about a week it turns thicker and milky but less of it. I never get any itching and it doesn?t smell. I also do not take the contraceptive pill and very rarely take any prescription medicines.
Obviously I was worried after cleaning up my Candida, ridding of a clear tongue etc that I still had yeast infection. I was told that I just had more discharge than some other women; we are all different and thus work different with all aspects of our bodies. I know I am incredibly fertile so maybe that is why as I have so much of this discharge.
I have had a vaginal yeast infection from
Antibiotics some years ago and the difference is very apparent, the consistency is thicker and it smells yeasty plus it is very itchy. Keep an eye out for changes of course, but I think you just belong to the extra fertile group of women (Yay for us *smirk*).
