Re: Do I have Candida?
I am sure I have candida. Everyday food and
Sugar are an issue. I am so sick of eating, needing to eat, wanting to eat. I crave sweets every single day at least once.
I have a 7 month old whom I am still nursing, and I'm sure he has too much yeast/candida also. He's still 100% breastfed and his farts and poop stink really bad! They didn't until about 2 months ago. I still cannot stop. And now I'm about 30-35 pds. overweight. I cannot cleanse right now while breastfeeding, but I'll be 40 in April and would like to be pregnant again this year sometime but know I need to get healthy. Apparently, I had a yeast infection most, if not all, of my pregnancy. Without symptoms though. Then last month I went on vacation and ate a TON of
Sugar and got a very noticeable yeast infection.
I know I have to alter my diet, but I cannot on my own.
QUESTIONS:
Where else do I start??
Are anti-fungals necessary?
How can I find a Dr who will help me treat this? I read of a
Dr. in Milwaukee in this forum that I have to search for
again. I'd be willing to travel there from Chgo.
What exactly is ThreeLac?
Has anyone heard of Optiflora? It's a patented capsule that
helps the brobiotic get to the large intestine. My baby's
dr. recommended I talk to someone about it but when I
searched it, it's made by Shaklee. Isn't that a multi-
level marketing thing??
So I went to Whole Foods today and got Acidophilus Pearls made
by, I think, Enzymatic Therapy Natural Medicines. Anyone
heard of it? You only take 1 a day.
It doesn't need to be refrigerated. Don't all probiotics need
to be refrigerated?
I am at wits end with this. I want to be healthy so bad but feel like I have absolutely no willpower when it comes to my diet. And my husband, I'm sure, also has candida. He wants to be healthy also but without any work or sacrifice. He refuses to cleanse. And he doesn't think he has candida. He does have hep. and is extremely sensitive to anything he takes, does or eats.
Thanks ahead of time!!
