I was on amoxicillin, ampicillin, ceflexin during the stay that produced the burping.

# Itching - sometimes, it can be severe
# Jaundiced (yellow) skin or eyes - eyes are ok, skin is yellowish
# Inability to digest certain foods - YES! I can't digest anything without enzymes, even with enzymes I cannot digest olive oil
# Nausea, vomiting - rarely but yes, also loss of appetite
# Right upper quadrant abdominal pain - no
# Organ failure in cases of sepsis (but not from cholestasis itself) - no
# Rash or fever in some cases of drug-induced cholestasis - no
# Clay-colored or white stools - sometimes
# Dark urine - sometimes

I would not be 1 bit surprised if I have fibrosis from those Antibiotics . I do not want a liver biopsy and I don't think they would do 1 anyway. There is soemthing new called Fibroscan that is non-invasive method to detect level of fibrosis. I have emailed them, not sure yet how easy it is to get this done.
