I have recently spent the past few months in and out of hospital. To cut a long story short I was admitted with chest pain and they found a blood clot on my lung which has now been dissolved. A few months prior to this happening I was getting very tired and unable to keep food down without getting sick and pains in the stomach etc. I noticed while in hospital the foods they gave me made me unable to leave the bed (wheat, gluten and sugars). Upon leaving hospital I had live blood analysis done and I was advised to keep away from wheat for along time and sugars. I went to my doctor to be tested for Coeliac disease but the test came back negative, I did how ever learn that one needs to be eating wheat when the test is done and I am unable to do so because it will put me in bed for weeks unable to walk to even talk clearly.
I am now following a Candida diet and my health has improved remarkabley within weeks, and when I slipped and accidentally had wheat I was sick back in bed for half a day. The more I read about Candida the more I feel that my symptoms are Candida related rather than Coeliac. How can I tell the difference as both have similar symptoms and both need to have similar Elimination Diets to rid the ?evil??
