The Fresh Life sprouting machine works well, but it is NO fun to clean. You have to fill it with
fresh water every day. I'd rather
fill my round tray in the morning.
Much easier! I keep a misting bottle near the sprouts, and mist them
three or four times a day. The
cleanup when you're done is simple.

I grow my sprouts inside, so I haven't had any flies. If I did,
I'd spray the flies with a solution
of Orange Plus, which I keep in another misting bottle (and never use).
