Although some might try to tie this into a "die off" reaction, I'd suggest it's a more fundamental -- and moderately severe -- allergic reaction. I agree -- stop using it immediately. ThreeLac contains "Spore Forming Lactic Acid Bacteria (Lactobacillus Sporogenes), Lemon Juice Powder, Refined Yeast Powder, Castor Oil, Spore Forming Bacteria (Bacillus Subtills), and Lactic Acid Bacteria (Streptococcus Faecalis)." Hard to say what you might be allergic to, but it's probably safe to bet it's the yeast powder or one of these "Not your father's probiotic" bacterias.

Primal Defense is another effective probiotic from what others have said, although some are sensitive to the "grass" component it contains.

"I've been battling this for years with no luck." Have you tried a prescription antifungal such as nystatin, fluconazole, ketoconazole, etc.? While not effective for some, many others have had good results with same after unsuccessful treatment attempts using herbals.
