I lost so much weight when I first got sick. People thought it was just the diet causing it and would say you need to eat more. Oh it just made me so mad. I was some days eating 3 avocados just to try and gain some weight. I normally weigh 125-130 on a 5' 5" frame. I always exercised a lot so a lot of that weight was muscle not fat. Within 3 months of the onset of my problems I had dropped down to just over 100 lbs. the muscle was the first to go and I looked anorexic. Believe me I ate too and no more than I eat now and guess what I am back to my old weight. It took me about 9 months to get it back. It is all about digestion. If your body is overriden by parasites, bacteria, candida and toxins as mine was your intestines are surely compromised and unable to digest and assimilate. It is a slow process but Shelleycat is very wise about how to increase the power of digestion. And you need to get rid of the crap literally and figuritively. Detoxify that colon that is where it is all hanging out. Improve the function of your liver with liver flushes. Both Shelleycat and Andreas who have forums here have very good information. Relax and listen to your body. The changes happen slowly and sometimes it is scary (I really thought I was dying a slow death when I could not stop losing weight) sometimes it is frustrating but just keep on plugging away, educate and care for yourself and your health will gradually return.
