Re: State what YOU believe in

Play like you've gone to the mall with your family. Now let's play like you lost one of your kids. Your job is to FIND your child....but this won't happen if you don't look in the right places.

In order to seek God you have to open your heart up to any possibilty. Even if you don't currently believe in God, just say a small prayer that God might reveal Himself....and just be prepared to offer a little sliver of your heart. Ask God daily to fill you with His love, even if you don't understand many things. God KNOWS how He made you....He knows our shortcomings. He created us KNOWING we weren't born with all the answers...which is why He promised we'd find Him if we simply "seek."


Quite honestly my salvation did not come quickly. It was a fairly long intellectual and emotional journey for me, ultimately ending in total devotion based on evidence that I could no longer deny. For 38 years I lived a reasonable existence...I had a fairly happy life and all, but something REAL happened in me recently that I never could have envisioned happening. But it all started with an open heart and a desire to learn about truth. S
