Looking for book ideas

I'm looking for some good reading material. I love reading about the orgin of our universe/creation/evolution/philsophy etc. Anyone have any suggestions? I'm not much into mathmatics or unaccessible physics....I need something on a level the normal guy can read and understand without a medical dictionary or a trigonometry book at his side. I'm absolutely a creationist but I don't mind reading stuff from the dark side either. I sorta dig the occasional mental confrontation. S
