Re: Recent Evolutionary Changes to human genome

If humans branched off from chimpanzees then why do chimpanzees still exist in the world. That's where macro evolution fails every time. So simple, yet unanswerable! Assuming humans used to be chimps but became better adapted in a changing, ever evolving environment, how do you account for the existence of a species(chimps) that should have died out! One could ponder that geography plays a part in the equatino where as chimps migrated around the world they adapted to their new environment by becoming human. Okay, I could buy that IF chimps were not worldwide along with humans in virtually EVERY geographical locatin on the earth. Sorry, but it doesn't wash.

God created humans and animals by His Word, just like it says in the Holy Bible. We are not distant relatives of chimps. We are primates like them, by classification, but by God's grace He created the world with interesting diversity and similarities.
God is not boring. He created this earth wonderfully; I am still amazed at some of His Creation! :)
