I disagree with you on your opinions, but that's not why I'm posting. Everyone is entitled to their own opinions.
However, let me point out one major misconception that could be dangerous. Narcotics are also pharmaceuticals. This, by itself is semantics, but you need to understand what narcotics really are. It's an old term, and it could mean slightly different classes of drugs to different practitioners. But overall, narcotics work on your brain, and are highly addictive, sedating, and with lots of adverse effects, the things you want to avoid in the first place.
There are some viable options for people who prefer to avoid the COX2 inhibitors from now on. It's a reasonable decision to avoid them, and every patient ought to be counseled as to what the alternatives are.
Oh, and please don't diminish arthritis, it's extremely painful.
