Mississippi

Here is a conversation that took place not too long ago.....

This guy from Mississippi had been talking to a person from the northeast and in the conversation the guy mentioned he had been one of Hurricane Katrina victims and the person, immediately thinking he was from New Orleans, asked, "Oh, you were one of the ones who was standing on the roofs waving for help?"

The man replied, "No mam, I didn't have anything left to stand on and there was no one to wave back."
