Only In Mississippi

There is a little town just south of Hattiesburg called Petal, Mississippi. It's a very small town and suffered extensive damage just like everyone else. But, when ice was being distributed to Petal, the mayor of Petal made everyone in that town promise they would NOT use the ice to ice down their beer. He banned iced beer until further notice.

The ban was lifted yesterday when power was restored..........

It's a true story, but it has given me a little chuckle in the midst of this disaster and I thought I would share it with you.
