Hurricane Jeanne! Here We Go Again!
It's getting harder and harder to
remember what life was like before
the hurricane season began in mid-
August. In the last six weeks,
Floridians have been threatened by
four major hurricanes. The first
three did extensive damage to different parts of the Plywood State, and killed a lot of unfortunate people. And now Jeanne
is bearing down on us full throttle,
after killing several thousand
people in Haiti.
We're already experiencing strong
gusts and driving rain. I expect the
power to go out well before Jeanne
arrives on our shores, so this will
be my last post for awhile. Tomorrow, I'll refasten the shutters, drive my elderly mother
to the market, and pack out bags.
If Jeanne stays on course, Mom and
I will evacuate tomorrow evening
or early Saturday morning. By now,
we've got the drill down perfectly.
I ask that my CureZone friends
keep all of us Floridians in your
prayers.
God Bless Us Everyone!
