Re: Agoraphobia and Panic Disorders

SO TRUE!
Since 1984 I suffered from just about all you've posted.
I went to a LOT of Dr's and the only diagnosis I got was "Hysterical female syndrome",and was given "your going crazy pills".
In 1987,I went to the Navy Hospital in Oakland, and there too they said I was "crazy",more pills!
Moved to Charleston,SC in 1988,Navy sent me to Psyciatric clinic to see a shrink & more pills.
In 1994,I was in a car accident, and I went back to the Navy hospital for a follow up.The doctor that took my case, noticed something and asked my to do some balancing tests.
Stand on one foot & close your eyes, touch your nose while looking up at the ceiling. Then, all the sudden he said,"I want you to have a THYROID test done". **BINGO** that was the problem,my T counts was so low I don't know how I lasted so long.
I'm now on 150mcg of Synthyrod, and I'm on Zoloft
(I started to feel doom & gloom a month ago,and my 38. was starting to look good!)
I just had my blood work done, and I'm at the "norm",and I am feeling a WHOLE LOT better.
