How does it feel to have I.V. done in other parts of body?

The veins in my arms and wrist are hurting, however, I want to be healed and still want to do I.V. I've seen people doing I.V. in foot and had searched in yahoo that I.V. can be done with veins on thigh, shoulder, chest. Pls tell me do those part hurt more before I suggested to my I.V. nurse? My I.V. nurse is cutting me to one I.V. in 4 weeks because of my sensitive veins to avoid delay of her time to do I.V. on other patients. However, I want to be healed and not to be cut to one I.V in 5 weeks or more, if I can't find a vein to use. So I want to suggest a vein that I can be sure I can bare the pain, or else the nurse will not welcome me so much. Thanks.
