help for nail fungus

have tried just about any natural remedy and filing of the nails very close to the flesh, yet the 20 year-old fungus on finger and toe nails still persists. i'm tried of it. can you please help me?
one thing i haven't tried yet is the ultraviolet (UVC) but don't know if it may cause damage to the surounding tissue. i thought of making a lens to focalize the sun lite onto my nails but then the glass may absorp or deflect the sun's UV. any insights on this would be appreciated.
