How can I rid myself of freckles?

I have adult onset freckles, the ones that start appearing at puberty and keep increasing every year. I've worn sunblock every day of my life since I was 23 but it still hasn't helped much. I am thinking maybe they are cuased by my liver? How do I get rid of my freckles? (They only appear on my face) Tweet
