the first thing you need to do is 'STOP DIGGING'...

i'm not so sure about the flu symptoms being a sign of liver damage... never heard that before... anytime i was ever sick i always used alcohol as my medicine... (which is like using gasoline to put a fire out)... but eventually we get to the point of just being sick and tired of being sick and tired... sound like that is the point you've reached at the present...

and i'm not sure at all about the juice fast... seems to me that would be kinda of harsh treatment for an already weakened and deteriorated system... personally... i think that a good healthy Diet with vitamins supplements might be more in order...

the human body is a most remarkable invention... whoever the guy/gal was that invented it sure knew what he/she was doing... the liver by the way is the only organ in the body that can regenerate itself... all you have to do is stop destroying it... if you'll just stop drinking you'll be surprised at how fast your body will recover... but the trick is to stop and stay stopped... and to do that... i would highly suggest that you try making as many AA meetings as possible... i may not know much... but i know AA works...

i apologize for not being here sooner to answer your post... been having a lot of computer problems... but on bright side... i'm getting a lot better at wiping everything out and starting over... and that's something we can always do no matter how bad things may seem... we can always start over... especially when it comes to not drinking and learning to live a healthy... enjoyable sober life...
