want to know what i like best about AA...???

well AA "coffee" is the best i've ever drank...
but nahhh... that's not it...

AA people (as a whole) are the most beutiful people i've ever met anywhere...
but nahhh... i don't think that's it either... (at least not altogether)...

AAers (as a whole) are the most intelligent people i've ever met...
nahhhh... that's not quite it...

AAers (as a whole) are the most honest people i've ever met...
nahhh... that's not it altogether either...

maybe it's the fact that AA isn't after my money... most AAers only put a buck in basket... and that is only if they have it to spare... (which most do)...
but nahhhhhh... that's not it altogether either... (but it is the best bang for the buck that one will ever find anywhere)... lol... :-)

what i like best about AA is the warm fuzzies i get... the "LOVE" that i feel in meetings... the "UNCONDITIONAL LOVE"... that means that nothing is required of me... i do not have to dress in any particular way... i do not have to have wealth... property... prestige... i do not have to belong to any particular religion... nor do i have to be of any particular race/creed/nationality...

AA is the closest thing to heaven that i have ever been able to find here on earth... it is a place where people come together for their own common good... granted... i'm not saying that all AAers are perfect... they are not saints... but they are willing to grow along spiritual lines... and they are willing to help the new comers that are down and out...
if you go to an AA meeting you will get what you are looking for...
if you go looking to find fault with others you will find it...
if you go to find sobriety you will find it...
if you go to find truth you will find it...
if you go in search of truth you will find it...
if you go in search of love you will find it...
if you go to find sex... beware... you will find that too...
so the bottom line is "to thine own self be true"...

want to know something else... something really strange... i wouldn't trade places with anyone in the world... i am so content just being me... i am happy... joyous... and free... (but believe me i am not perfect by any stretch of the imagination)... but you want to know something that really blows me away... my "GOD" loves me just as i am... and accepts "me" just as i am... just like the folks in AA do...

"now isn't that strange"...???
