Alcoholism, Alcohol Tolerance, and genetics: the "hangover" gene

Hi all,
I just read an article on health.dailynewscentral.com about a new study that has shown the likelihood of alcoholism being determined by genes, or one gene imparticular, the "hangover" gene(seriously the scientific name for it is the hangover gene!) being linked to a predisposition toward alcoholism. It's interesting because if researchers understand what causes alcoholism they may be able to develop a way to prevent it!!
