Three friends
Three friends from the local congregation were asked,
"When you're in your casket, and friends and congregation
members are mourning over you, what would you like them
to say?"
Artie said: "I would like them to say I was a wonderful husband,
a fine spiritual leader, and a great family man."
Eugene commented: "I would like them to say I was a wonderful
teacher and servant of God who made a huge difference in
people's lives."
Don said: "I'd like them to say, "Look, he's moving!"
lol...

this was a little joke sent to me by a dear friend... but on reflection... one can see a much deeper meaning... the first two fiends are only concerned with how others might view them...(people pleasing) but the third friend is concerned only with being alive...
how many of us get so caught up in trying to please others that our lives become dedicated to pleasing others and the we seem only to find happiness in the reflections of what we think others think of us... do we think we can tell what others are thinking... why is it so important to us what others think...
i think maybe we shouldn't think so much...
i think...
lol...
