Thank you so much, Owen. I've read a lot of your posts
under other subjects. You seem very well informed. I've
kind of studied "natural healing" (the body can heal itself
if given the opportunity) for many years and I was DELIGHTED
to find curezone.
But I am also delighted to have found "Stories with meaning".
I started putting out "The Encourager" about a year ago
because we had so many elderly in our church that just needed
"lifted up". They were just kind of "there". So I started
The Encourager...to encourage THEM...and they got such an
uplifting from it...and I started suggesting that they take
extra copies for friends...to help lift their friends up..
and it has literally snowballed. I wish I could put the
whole issue of The Encourager on here every week somewhere...
but I'm kind of new to computers...and don't know how to do
that. My husband is newly retired...and we just bought a computer
so I could do what started out to be a church newsletter...
and people would say..."we KNOW what's going on here and there...
could you leave that out and put more stories and humor in...
so now...announcements go on the bulletin board...and are
announced from the pulpit...and The Encourager is just
a humorous and inspirational newsletter...I always put in there
"JUST FOR FUN...TO LIFT YOU UP"
What started out as a simple little newsletter for a little
country Baptist church...has snowballed into The Encourager
and can be found in nursing homes, doctors offices, the
grocery store. I put one in every mailing I do for us or for
the church. I have BOXES of good stories...I'll try to post
something at least once a day...hope you enjoy them...katydid
