eye-this annoying thing stuck to lash

It's been a few days now. My one eye, on the lash I assume has what I would call a web, bug or something that is outside like stuck to the lash I believe but in reality it's not. If I try to grab there is nothing to grab, but it's there.

Someone told me other day, when aging it's particles that cling to the lash and need to wash with baby shampoo, then rinse, then take preferrably hot water cloth, preferrably white, and curl the eyelash going upward. I have tried this few times nad that annoying thing just refuses to leave. Remember I am the only one who can see it too.

Suggestions please. Thanks.
