That article definitely turned out to be false :) notice it was written in 2003, they're talking about 5-7ghz pc's, 3 years later and Intel still hasn't gotten farther than ~3.8ghz, and are just starting to use 64 bit for personal computers. That's one thing Intel is notorious for, predictions which look good on paper, but never show up in the real world as predicted. Tweet
