Wireless network

Hi there. I have just won a notebook recently and I wanted to connect it to my desktop wirelessly. I know I can by a router that supports wireless networks, but I ask you, good people members of curezone, if there is a cheaper way to do it. I have heard of bluetooth devices. How do they work? The thing is I just want to connect two computers and not the five the router would allow me to. Thanks Tweet
