chronic pancreatitis symptoms??????

I have been having stomach pain for about a year now, and I'm a 20 yr old male. I drank pretty heavily (beer) for about 3 years. Ever since I started having the stomach pain I have stopped drinking. I constantly hurt everyday, and as soon as I get done eating I start belching alot and have excessive gas. It hurts right around my belly button mostly but it goes to my back and sometimes left and right sides. I have had a abdominal x-ray, barium ct scan of abdomen (without the dye), complete abdominal ultrasound, and amylase blood test. All was normal. I just had an upper gi done and waiting on results. About a month ago I was hurting severely bad and had a low grade fever and felt really really sick, I had excrusiating pain all around my belly button but it went away after about a day and half. Out of all the tests that i have had done can there be any possible way that I have chronic pancreatitis and they just haven't found it, considering my amylase blood levels were normal???????????? thanks for any advice and God Bless..
