great idea

this is an idea that has been on my mind recently, what good ways of increasing memory are there? you can read all these advertisements saying use gingko biloba, and lots of other herbs/chemicals. do any of them work like they say? are they targeted at fixing a certain problem? some peoples memory loss could be due to different things. from drugs, to age, to a poorly stimulated brain, to chemicals a person comes into contact with. so do these herbs work towards a particular type of memory loss? are they meant more to flex the prominent muscle relating to memory, the brain? are they meant to give nourishment producing chemicals with which our brain uses to function correctly?
