Re: ACV Gave me a yeast infection?

One thing that may help if you are becoming too acidic from the ACV, in addition to adding the BSM, you may want to cut out all citrus fruits/juices, and tomatoes for a while. When I get acidic it is usually because I have overindulged in citrus foods. And with it being summer, it is even easier to do. For a few days, cut our lemons, oranges, tomato-based foods, and even pineapples. Also, read your food labels to be sure the foods you eat aren't being preserved with citric acid as this can contribute to the problem.

What can happen is that ACV can act both acidic and alkaline in the body depending on the acid/base state of the body at the time. When you began taking the ACV your body was probably in need of the acidic balance that the ACV brought. But soon your intake of the ACV surpassed the alkaline elements in your body creating a more acidic environment that is now creating dysbiosis. The body is dynamic and you really have to pay attention to what it is saying or it can go way off, and leave you totally confused. I've been using mineral balancing for Acne as well, and it really keeps me on my toes.
