Re: For Zoe, Hopinso and other long term MC fasters..:)

Hi Nadia,

One of my major goals my last cleanse was to improve my knee which I had reinjured and had difficulty putting weight on. It is totally asymptomatic now and I just went and got my bike and trainer out of storage to continue that progress.

There have been the internal benefits of course which come with bowel cleansing. Improved digestion, elimination. I now sweat profusely which has always been an issue for me and so now I feel like my sweat glands are totally unclogged and working efficiently where for most of my life they did not.

Having said this however, I still come back to an earlier discussion we had, where you express your concern about the syrup contributing to some issues you have which may be candida. If you have candida, the Master-Cleanse will exacerbate the symptoms and it is much more difficult to deal with a candida overgrowth than it is to bowel cleanse. You also expressed concern that you felt you are losing too much weight and need additional energy for your work demands. For these reasons, you might consider other cleansing options, combined with juice fasting which will give you the needed calories to maintain body weight and energy levels. Also, the Master-Cleanse can detox more heavily than other cleanses and so you may even consider something like MH's orange juice fast.

Definitely, you can include the lemonade/cayenne mixture in whatever you decide to do. Its not a strict Master-Cleanse fast, but getting some cayenne in your system is so beneficial it is worth the effort.

I did lots of juice fasting during the years I worked to heal myself of colon cancer. I used spirulina maxima and nutrejuva in combinations of juice. I plan to segue into some more juice fasting myself. I did so much juice fasting for so many years, I can recommend it. I even like taking a gallon of carrot juice in a cooler of ice on the road when I am traveling since I feel it is difficult to find good food choices on the road and drinking juices keeps you more alert and energized than a dose of solid food. Your skin and eyes glow (hee hee, not literally) and you get mega doses of vitamins and minerals which often are *cooked-out* of other food. Another good option is always having a bowl of cut up veggies ready to nibble on, at home, or on the road.

I wish you luck with your decision~~~!

be happy, be well,
Zoe
