Help! Burn to face...eyes blurry...

I'm wondering if you have suggestions.

My husband had a tiny explosion happen in front of his face. His skin isn't affected much, but his eyebrows and lashes are singed, and his eyes are really bloodshot. one is blurry.

He's going to an optometrist, who will probably give him Antibiotics ...and he'll take them.

Any suggestions. I say take lots of garlic, rinse with saline. Vitamin C, E and juice to help body heal.

Any others???
